Getting into the Halloween spirit, The Media Theatre has teamed up with The Media Borough to present Spooktacular! A Musical Halloween. It’s your opportunity to be seen online dressed in the costume of your choice while singing a song from your favorite Halloween-themed show.
Even though Media’s annual Halloween Parade is unable to take place due to Covid-19 regulations, The Media Theatre has joined with Media Borough to have a virtual Halloween Parade. This will be online starting at 1pm on Halloween day and remaining there for 24 hours. It will be posted on the Media Theatre website and facebook page, as well as on the Media Borough website.
Halloween is the time of year to be whoever you want to be. Whether funny or frightening, your costume lets the world know a bit about who you are even as you are dressed up as someone or something else. It’s your opportunity to be seen online dressed in the costume of your choice while singing a song from your favorite Halloween-themed show. Plus, it’s totally safe and memorably fun.
We will accept submissions through October 25 for this fun cabaret. We will also accept non-musical submissions as long as it has a Halloween theme. Submissions must be no longer than 60 seconds, so get your make-up and costume on, choose your song, and have fun!
Use the highest quality image from your iPhone or camera (1080p is suggested as it has best video quality. If you use 720p the image may be blurred.)
